Your Special day can be planned on a range of budgets, from a small beachfront ceremony with immediate family to a multi-day celebration with sangeet, haldi, and a beach reception. Here’s what most couples ask us about first: geography, weather, venues, guest entertainment, and travel logistics.
Wedding Experience in Thailand
We plan every part of your celebration, from venues and hotels to décor and logistics across Thailand. Ceremonies can be set on the beach in Krabi, near temples in Phuket, or as a larger event close to Pattaya. Share your guest count and budget, and we'll build a full plan around both.
Why Couples Choose Thailand for Their Wedding?
Thailand can look different depending on which city you pick. Krabi has limestone cliffs and quieter beaches, good for an intimate ceremony. Phuket pairs beachfront resorts with nearby temples if you want a mix of tradition and sea view. Pattaya works well for larger guest lists, with hillside and garden venues close to the main hotel strip. You can book a private villa for the whole event, or split ceremonies across a resort's beach lawn and banquet hall, depending on your guest count and budget.

Geography
Thailand sits in Southeast Asia, bordered by Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, and Malaysia. Its coastline runs along both the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand, which is why coastal cities like Phuket, Krabi, and Pattaya work so well for weddings: easy beach access, warm water, and hotels built specifically for events.
Weather and the Best Time to Plan Your Wedding
Thailand has a tropical climate year-round, with warm days and cooler evenings. October through March is the most comfortable window for an outdoor wedding, when humidity drops and rainfall is minimal. April to June runs hotter, and the monsoon season from July to September brings regular rain, so most couples avoid those months for a beach wedding in Thailand.
Venues
Venue options range from five-star hotel resorts with dedicated wedding lawns to private villas booked out for the whole family. Some couples prefer one property that can host every function, from mehendi to reception. Others split events between a beach venue for the ceremony and a banquet hall for the reception. We match the wedding venues to your guest count and budget before booking anything.
Guest Entertainment and Hospitality
Entertainment for sangeet or reception nights is easy to arrange locally, including live bands, singers, and choreographed dance performances, often at lower cost than booking the same acts in India. Hotel staff in the main wedding cities are used to hosting these ceremonies and can accommodate requests around food, décor, and ritual timing.
Travel and Visa Information for Your Guests
Flight time from India is short compared to most destination wedding locations: roughly 4 to 5 hours direct from Delhi, and around 4 to 5 hours from Mumbai or Bangalore, with direct flights running from all three cities. As of mid-2026, guests or couples need either a Visa on Arrival (15 days, paid in Thai Baht at the airport) or a Tourist e-Visa applied for in advance (60 days). If your wedding trip runs longer than two weeks, the e-Visa is worth arranging ahead of time. Every traveller also needs to file Thailand’s Digital Arrival Card online before landing, regardless of visa type. Visa rules have changed more than once in the past two years, so we recommend confirming current requirements closer to your travel date.
